Axiom is a data-and-verification laboratory. This page states, plainly, what our results mean, what they do not mean, and the limits of our service. These statements also appear on every Certificate of Analysis.
1.Research Use Only (RUO)
RESEARCH USE ONLY
All analytical testing, validation reports, and interactive Certificates of Analysis (COAs) provided by Axiom Analytics are intended strictly for Research Use Only (RUO) in in-vitro or laboratory animal model environments. Axiom Analytics does not analyze, validate, evaluate, or make any representations regarding the safety, efficacy, toxicity, or legality of any tested substance for human or animal consumption, veterinary use, clinical diagnostics, food additives, cosmetics, or household applications.2.What a result means, and what it does not
- A result reflects only the specific item or portion tested, by the stated method, at the time of testing.
- A PASS designation means only that the reported result met the specification shown on that report, nothing more.
- We do not assess safety, efficacy, toxicity, sterility for use, dosing, or suitability for any human, animal, clinical, veterinary, food, cosmetic, or household application.
- A COA is not medical, clinical, regulatory, or legal advice, and is not an endorsement of any product, vendor, or use.
3.Sampling limitation
Results relate only to the item or portion tested. Unless sampling was performed or witnessed by Axiom Analytics, the laboratory does not attest that the submitted sample represents the wider lot or batch. A PASS designation means only that the reported result met the specification shown.
4.Method status and accreditation
We label every reported method by its status so you are never misled about its rigor:
- Validated in-house: method validated by Axiom for the stated analyte, matrix, and range.
- Verified compendial: an established compendial procedure (e.g. USP) verified as suitable for use.
- Research screen: a screening method that is informative but is not a validated or compendial release assay.
Axiom Analytics does not currently hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. Testing is conducted under a documented quality system, and the method-validation status is identified beside each reported result. The microbial screen is a rapid molecular screen and is nota USP <71> sterility test. This statement will be updated upon accreditation.
5.No conflict of interest
Axiom Analytics owns zero retail brands and zero inventory and holds no financial stake in any substance it tests. We are strictly a data-verification laboratory. This independence is a feature of the service, not a guarantee of any particular outcome.
6.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the cumulative liability of Axiom Analytics, its officers, employees, and third-party laboratory partners to the client or any third party for any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities of any kind (including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages) shall be strictly limited to, and shall not exceed, the exact dollar amount paid by the client to Axiom Analytics for the specific individual analytical test run from which the liability arose.
7.Your responsibilities
- Submit only samples you are legally permitted to possess and ship.
- Represent sample identity and lot information accurately.
- Use results within their stated scope and do not present them as safety, clinical, or regulatory clearance.
- Do not alter, forge, or misrepresent any COA or verification result.
